Very interesting. I wasn't aware that in Romania it's so much gold in pure form. Worth the visit . Really nice stones to see.

A place to see once in a lifetime. You can visit in groups of 15. A lot of native gold exhibits and other natural stones.

Nice guide, good variation of exhibits (gold in different formations of minerals and precious/semi-precious stones) . You can probably view the whole museum in about 1 hour (medium gazing time).

The museum has plenty of different minerals, most of them containing gold in different shapes and with different appearances. A nice place to visit and very interesting place for a geologist. There are several \piece de resistence\ : the lizards, Eminescu's feather and the ballerina (ones that I remember). Entrance is cheap:10 lei for students and a bit more expensive for else.

Nice museum, but no real guide. And all descriptions were too technical like in a geological or chemistry laboratory. More (audio) stories needed. Maybe a narrative voice that to play in the background. Fix that.

They pay a lot of attention with mentaing the place clean and organized and the COVID-related protection rules are strictly respected. The exhibits are very beautiful, interesting and unique. We had a wonderful experience overall, however the guide could've been a lot nicer. She knew a lot of stuff, of course, but she seemed really cold. Another thing I might add is that it would be a lot nicer if you could actually pay with your credit card. Really recommend visiting, you learn a lot of things about gold.
