Lovely museum and a must see if you visit Suceava. Take your time to walk around all buildings and read the history behind. The lady at the entrance and the security guy were very nice; we had a quick chat with them. They gave us more details about the houses and how they were reconditioned and moved to the museum from various parts of the area.

Small and compact village museum. However, in terms of attention to interior house details, it's a 10/10. Interiors are reconstructed to perfection! All the important village interiors are presented: the potter, the blacksmith, the pub, water mill, the oil mill, church, primary school, weaving house, coats workshop, stables, barns along with traditional village homes with all their traditions such as agriculture tools, baptising, wedding, funeral rituals and many more. Unexpectedly amazing!
Amazing village museum, much better than the one in herastrau Bucharest, everything includes different translations
The best atraction in Suceava, in my opinion. This is an entire 1:1 scale reproducted village, with description and raffiguration of all the aspects of the Bucovinian ancient life. Hardly reccomended, for all kind of people.
Very interesting place to visit, I recommend to take your time and check every house.
I will only show this one picture, because otherwise it would not be fair to those who havent been there to see it all live. I recommend visiting. Great piece of history and culture!
This is one of the nicest village museums you can visit in România. The surface is not impressive, but they have a lot of houses from different places. Definitely if you go to Suceava worths spending a couple of hours visiting it. Being close to the fortress of Suceava is another reason to go there and visit it.
Well kept and presented museum. Recommend.
