A great cultural and artistic objective! Strongly recommended! They have an incredible collection of artworks, absolutely unbelievable - a lot of them restored and rearranged in more than very good conditions and shapes. I saw today an excellent exhibition of some (post)modernist artists from Bucharest (first gallery, first floor) and an awesome collection of paintings and sculptures from the authors between the first and second World War, some big names of the Romanian cultures but, also, a lot of new names for me (the second art gallery, second floor)! You have to go there, it's a must-see!

Unul dintre puținele muzee băcăuane. Din fericire el se află în plină renovare. Din păcate nu l-am vizitat de foarte mult timp. La vremea respectivă mi-ar fi plăcut să aibă o colecție de tablouri mai bogată.

Un muzeu minunat, cu oameni deosebiți dar abandonat de factorii de decizie, parcul de statui a devenit parcare privată iar cladirea veche a fost pur și simplu demolată, este un teren viran acum, cu noroi in care înoată toti cei care vor sa ajunga la muzeu. Intrarea principală a fost blocată de retrocedarea terenului pe care se face parcarea si care aparținea Muzeului, fiind chiar în fața acestuia.
