One word, awesome! Such a great place to visit and see some incredible crystals formed millions of years ago. Pictures don't do them justice, you really need to go and see them up close and see all the details! You can also understand a bit about the minerals that can be found in the region. For staff and keepers, you might consider adding more specimens that can be bought, because the few that you have are not enough. Also, you might consider adding a section about how they are mined and processed, since so many people worked very hard in order for visitors to see these wonderful things!

Great and well curated museum. It's a 10 minute walk from the city centre and you won't regret the experience.

You need to see this place at least once. There are so many wonders of the mineral world that you didn't know about. Simply beautiful, nature at its finest. And it all comes from deep inside the earth.

This Museum is literally a Mine. You can see a lot of gems, Quartz, Gold, Stibnite, Marcasite and much more, extracted from Romanian Mines around Baia Mare. Enjoy!
