Really disappointed from the place. Slow, not tasty and poor service. Ordering a very well done meal, explaining in detail that is a must have for you - waiter first looks bad at you. Then, you recieve medium... you return it to be further cooked - waiter looks bad at you. Then for third time you get almost the same, reddish inside.... After rejecting the food, you do not hear even simple "apologize" but you see a rude looking face of the staff. Besides this: prices very high, food very small portions and not good taste at all. Highly overrated place. I know well what is fine dining, but should be tasty, exciting and bring positive emotions - this here did not happen. In the hotel, which is a decent resort itself, you get tastier and good food, lower price and much better service , so anyone will make better choice staying in hotel's restaurant. Well, interior of "Fork" is nice. Disappointed from experience and definitely not recommend.

Don’t trust everything you read on google reviews. I have been at Balvanyos resort for a week: the service you will receive at the hotel restaurant is far better than the service at the FORK. If you are driving long distance to visit FORK restaurant - don’t, you will be disappointed. If you are staying at the resort, you will have a great stay, the rooms are great, the spa is fantastic, and the adventure park is awesome. The service at the hotel restaurant and it’s Gastrolab are far superior to the fork restaurant. I believe you are better of spending money on the hotel and it’s facilities than on their fine dining restaurant. IT IS NOT FINE DINING. Received two stars instead of one because the food was good (it just took hours to arrive and was not served in a fine dining manner)

Mancarea a fost foarte gustoasa! Servirea ireprosabila, dl.ospatar Laci a fost foarte amabil: a durat putin mai mult mancarea pana a fost gata, insa am primit din partea casei un antreu si desertul, o delicioasa supa de capsuni cu inghetata de mango! Delicios!!! Mai mult, fiind la masa cu un bebelus in carucior, s-a oferit sa-l coboare impreuna cu sotul meu, fiind mai multe trepte pana la accesul in restaurant!
