The NGO Swiss Web Academy, placed under the Honor Presidency of the Swiss Ambassador in Romania, H.E. Urs Herren, is a Professional Association located in Sibiu and with branches in Bucharest and Tîrgu Mures, which aims to provide high-quality courses and products, but also culture and awareness-raising in the IT&C domain. Its strength and major difference with its competitors resides in its unique working method: Swiss quality combined with Romanian flexibility. SWA's top courses (webprogrammer, webdesigner, webexpert) have been elaborated and constantly updated, year after year, together with the Western Switzerland Federal University of Applied Sciences. Besides, SWA proposes a large panel of state-of-the-art shorter specific web trainings allowing students to apply directly their new knowledge in their professional environment. All the trainings are available either at our brand new classes in the heart of Sibiu, or online – one-to-one or in small groups –, thanks to the Webacademy concept. Moreover, SWA offers three unique ranges of exclusive trainings: Childs and teens web education: webdesigner kids & basics of games construction (youngsters), webdesigner junior (teenagers). IT security education (improved in partnership with Security Brokers International): Basic awareness for CEOs and OSINT courses. Special non-vendor courses and coaching for entrepreneurs, such as "Basics of IT for Business"​, "Basics of adaptation to the newest IT products and how do they fit or not to your company"​ and "Basics of Web-marketing, IT promotion and IT strategy"​.
