The physical plant could use some funding assistance, but the content is good, well preserved, and organized. The personnel are top notch.

Very informative and interesting photography collection. Unfortunately it could use some restoration.

This exhibition highlights the revolution against the dictatorship in 1989 which started in Timisoara. The vast photographies of the demonstrations and the victims give a extensive view on the sacrifices the Romanian people brought. It leaves you speechless.

This museum evokes the high spirits during the 89' Revolution: It starts off with an exciting feeling for freedom and democracy, but as you approach the end of the exhibition, the resolution is presented as dark and sad.

Excellent and very moving. It is a very important museum to understand the events of the Revolution. There is NOTHING that is slick. It is rough, poignant, and sincere. On the first floor it is depressing and ugly, much like it was during the Soviet period, but the exhibits are powerful. On the second floor it is more refined, but very informative The Director Gino was wonderful in escorting us and talking about the museum. He has published over six books on these historical events. He participated in the revolution and now is host to this vital museum. It is also part of the narrative of social change around the world.
