The only way to arrive is by boat It's In the middle of nature. Totally isolated. Swim on the Black Sea, Walk along the barrier beach (outstanding views of wetlands), bird watching (excellent, we saw pelicans), fishing, rent a boat to go to the lagoon are the rings you can do there.

A lovely remote place on an island. The beach is big and there is plenty of space. There are not many beaches like this left in Romania. It's also a great place for amateur fisherman. A playground for children is available on the beach. The food is fantastic, but the wait is big - 1-2 hours each meal. If you didn't bring any supplies when coming here, you have to eat 3 meals a day at the restaurant, so you end up spending half the day here! There is no shop on the island. You can't buy fruit or even a candybar. Basic hygine products are available at the reception. Leaving that aside, this is for sure a place worth visiting where you can spend an amazing holiday.

Desi peisajele din zona sunt frumoase, oamenii de la Gura Portitei sunt f reci, si iti lasa un gust amar! La restaurantul de pe plaja nu poti sa comanzi nimic daca nu esti imbracat!!!!! Copilului meu ii plac tractorasele, si s-a intamplat sa gaseasca unul in apropierea plajei! Dar n-am putut sa stam pe langa el, sa se joace la rotile lui, pt ca a venit cineva care lucreaza in cadrul complexului si ne-a spus ca nu avem voie sa ne jucam pe langa tractor! Personal, nu as mai reveni, si nici nu recomanda altora!
