Good for kidsNo restaurant
As the other reviews said, indeed the museum is the house of a local couple. They also serve food. The prices (both food and craft objects) are high! There were the highest from our entire trip in Apuseni! There is also another museum in that small village that has similar stuff but not food. Prices are also high there.

Nice people . The hosts are very friendly. They have good hand made stuff. If your are in Arieseni you must go....
The museum is actually the home of an elderly couple who are very welcoming and warm people. The entrance is free and you can ask the host to prepare you some traditional foods like local pie or "bulz" (mix of polenta and home made cheese) which is delicious. The food will cost you only few lei. From here, you can go on a 1.5 km walk to the Patrahaitesti waterfall. It's totally worth seeing if you came this far.
Not a museum, it's a house in which the owners produce rustic handcraft items. But worth stopping by on your way to the waterfall
Shop not museum. Traditional items for sale. Good for hiding away from rain.
The museum is a craftsman' house. The couple of artists - he is working in wood, she is embroidering - is living in the house. Very nice and authentic place in Apuseni.
Not a museum, but a shop. The man enumerates the prices for objects. When I asked how he makes them, he told me more prices for the sold items.
must to visit place.
