I was not aware about this place till now, even if I understand it has some history already. Given the location - a tight turn on the driveway to Sinaia, it has always skipped my attention. I would recommend you to visit it. You need approximately 1h to take a full tour. Even if they usually close at 17:00, it is recommended to be there not latter than 16:30. You can see allot of things related to hunting at the first level (trophies, etc); forestry exhibits (tools, etc) and also some forest wild life and some classic story replicated at the last floor.

Nice place for a couple of hours. The museum is in a comunist style building ( the building is clean) while the old nice arhitecture building is almost abandon, which is a pitty
Very good museum to visit. Exhibits are very nicely arranged and they made like a small environment to see like where the animals live. They have a lot of trophies and skins exposed which look very good and they are in perfect condition. Recommended 100% !
We have passed it so many times, but never got to visit it. It is very interesting and has a lovely staff.
Nice to see a wide variety of wild animals exhibited in their natural habitat, specific books, weapons, etc., a warm welcome for both adults and children. You can also buy nice souvenirs.

A really nice place that does an excellent job of explaining the Romanian wildlife and the importance of hunting and conservation within the Romanian culture.
