One of the beautiful Monasteries visited in Romania. A very peaceful place, nice pictures in the entry space and on the main church terrace. And a lot of flowers.

This is a quiet and indeed a holy place. We stopped randomly while being on the road and we were surprised to see how everything was perfectly arranged in the monastery yard. The monastery wall is beautifully built. Inside of the yard you can find a building like a big house with flowers at each window sill. There was also a small church inside of the yard. The curch and the entire monastery is accessible to anybody for free. They also have a souvenir shop inside. The monastery is accessible to people with disabilities and it also has a parking lot in front of the entrance.
As soon as you see the gate (not walk through it), the majestic architecture of the buildings adjacent to the monastery and the landscape serving as a backdrop, hit you immediately (in the nicest way). If you find yourself traveling between Miercurea Ciuc and Gheorghieni in Harghita county, do not hesiatte to come here. It's just off the national road so you wouldn't be wasting any time getting to it. Built in a Brancovenesc style and innaugurated in 1999, this nun monastery represents an oasis for Christian Orthodox in Harghita which is a county that is predominantly Catholic because of its Hungarians inhabiting it.
It is a new monastery but very beautiful, quiet and peaceful
