Excellent experience in my most recent trip to Romania. Arrived and happy to know the vehicle was ready to go. I’d ordered a Seat Leon (or similar) sadly didn’t get that far but instead got a Ford EcoSport which was almost brand new and all in all a great car and comfortable ride. Picking the car up was a breeze and we were on our way very quickly. Dropping the car off was even more efficient, quick vehicle check and we were on our way again. Would definitely recommend Hertz Iaşi to anyone travelling to the area.

Car was new and lovely. Although there was a mishap with my booking as it didn't go through in their system, Alexandru managed to give me another car. He was very nice and helpful.
I have rent the car for ten days. Both pick-up and drop off was very fast and also the service from the assistant/clerk (Steve) was very kind, recommend.

Bad experience with HERTZ/THRIFTY/FIREFLY IASI (same management) at Iasi Airpot. I ve rented a car from this guys from 13.6.18-29.6.18. I didn't want to leave my credit card for deposit/excess (500-600) and I paid optional insurance 186/17 days.Even with extra insurance they checked the car for every scratch.the car was a seat ibiza 2016 full of scratches deposit blocked on my credit card of 100 for interior and tyres. It took almost 1h to take the car from them too much if you think that I ve paid extra insurance. When I returned with the car they tried to charge me also the deposit of 100 because the car was showing that I ve filled up with petrol 150 km ago but the tank was full,filled up just before drop off. I had enough time so we went back to the petrol station to confirm that and everything was ok. From my own experience it is better to rent a car in IASI from Autoboca or KlassWagen.If you pay optional insurance they don't check the car for scratches and the process before and after is very fast.
