Old but so charming. A throw back in time. They simply try to keep the village alive. Very difficult now when a so powerful neighbour is all around...
An excellent experience, we loved the house, it is very clean and charming, keeps the history of Roșia Montană alive between its walls. The books room is greatly decorated, there is an impressive collection of books. Very comfortable, with all the facilities you need. Also, lovely hosts and a wide area to explore, green hills and forests wherever you look Highly recommended!
We always come with pleasure at Casa Petri and at Rosia Montana. We find it very suitable for a relaxing getaway, with not too many people around, with lots of activities to do outside, suitable for all ages, including young children. The house is very welcoming and cosy, keeping everything simple and bringing back to life village stories and traditions.
A great place to stay and start your journey in Rosia Montana. It's located right in the heart of the village and you'll be able to experience a throw back in time while having all that is needed for the present day comfort (heated rooms, hot water, wifi etc.)
I love this place. It makes me feel like a kid again, visiting with my grandparents house. The owner are very kind and always eager to help and give advice with things to do arownd Rosia Montana. I recommend with all my heart. Casa Petri is more than accommodation in the region, it's exactly as it says in the name "Casa"... a house...your home away from home.
