The opulent military club was built at the end of the 19th century and as it was financed by the officers of the Roumanian army it survived even communist times. The inside is richly decorated in a Barok-ish style with loads differently themed function rooms. It cannot be visited by the general public, with the exception of the restaurant. Eating there will give you a glimpse of the rest of the building and is therefore recommended.
