One of the few places I recommend to visit. It's very interesting from all points of view. That architecture is out of common, especially the central part. Like walking in another world. A world of spirits, mysteries. Some say the place is even haunted. Thursday's entry is free, the fee is charged only if you want to take pictures. Each visitor receives a device that can listen to the whole story of the castle.

Very inspiring story of a scientist willing to do anything he could do in order to connect with his lost daughter

Interesting "mini-castle" that's really more of a house/memorial to an aristocrat's deceased daughter. It was built in the 1890's after the daughter, a prodigy who studied at the Sorbonne, died of tuberculosis. There is a small entry fee, plus an additional fee if you want to take pictures. Additionally, at the front of the house is a small gift shop, and around back there are more displays in the cellar. There is an audio tour available in English. It's worth seeing if you're in the area, but probably not worth a long detour.

The building is in a good state and it also provide a backyard where you can find a lot of unique statues and carved wood benches. You have to pay a fee only if you want to go inside the building, visiting the backyard and the outside of the building is free.

The building, resembling a medieval castle stone is a cultural, historical and spiritual monument that focuses the spiritual relationship between the great scholar Hasdeu with his daughter, Julia, after her death. Julia (1869-1888) was a genius, like her father, but she died young. The building is full of esoteric symbols, restoring their relationship that transcends the threshold between the worlds.

Great experience and story. Nice atmosphere and full of fun facts. A must visit. The architecture is quite unique, and the concept behind the structure and the family.

A museum about a child prodigy who died early and helped her father built the castle. Good staffs. Small but nice museum with interesting history. Great studio guide. Easy parking.
