A superb experience, unexpectedly so. We were looking for seaside alternatives to a good place to eat lunch, and we stumbled across this gem. Prices are excellent, value for money exceeds anything else in the entire Mangalia region, food is great, service is fantastic and the owner is around to entertain. Highly recommended!

This is one of the best family run businesses I've seen in the whole Romanian seaside. The food is great and they have their own interpretation of each Romanian and international dish. The best thing about the restaurant is that if you know a menu specialty from a local variation they will make it for you. The staff is great, the owner is amazing, he's a driving force and a real sales man that keeps everything running in tip top shape. He clearly has the international hospitality background and will to bring in new and good ways of running the restaurant. We loved it, we had 3 dishes in the menu and a dish my wife wanted from outside the menu. The food and local interpretations were great. Thank you for the experience!

Very good food, every time I eat there (4 times). The staff was very kind and polite. The price was not high, for a dinner, food and drinks (alcohol) was 70-90 ron (15-20 Euro)

Food comes in big portions and has the traditional romanian taste. You can find here a nice variety of dishes with fish, pork, chicken, lamb etc. Also serving is good. It is not a fancy place and I did not like the bathrooms..

Great restaurant to visit while in mangalia. When we arrived it was full outside, we left iur number with the owner and he called us when a table on the patio cleared. The food was delicious traditional romanian cuisine, large portions and fairly fast service. The wait staff was welcoming, answered any questions about the menu as well as questions about other restaurants. Prices were pretty standard for the region, not that expensive Overall a very pleasant atmosphere and i’d definitely visit again.

Good food, i had the chance to meet the restaurant owner. We talk for a hour how to prepare fish, local culture and other stuff. Really cool dude.

Rustic interior on two floors. Oysters in the doggy bag were a disaster. Fried in very burnt oil. They made my stomach ache hard. The meatball soup was good. Prices slightly lower than other restaurants in November 2019. Good for lower budget and strong stomach.
