Simply an amazing place to, pray or meditate. Their choir is out of this world and the smaller size of this Church makes the sermon so much more intimate.

I was very upset because a nasty guard did not allow me to make pictures, it is forbidden, he said, look at the sign! Indeed, it was a sign there but I've asked him about the reason - alright, I see the sign, but it is forbidden to make pictures because... what? I know to stop my flash, I know to remain calm and quiet, I know to not disturb any believer... Anyway, the church looks beautiful on the outside - the iconography, inside, is not so impressive. It was built in 1931 on the exact place of a former Orthodox church who was there between 1760 - 1909 when it was demolished - unknown reasons... A part of the former entrance was inserted in the wall of the new church - as you may discover on my pictures. Otherwise, it is a pleasant surprise to discover such a jewelry, well arranged, clean, with a classic design!
Very charismatic and polite priest, which even speaks German
A beautiful church, but a short religious wedding service.
Worth a visit if you're in town, you'll experience several centuries of history
Nostalgic place, nice little Orthodox church with a lot of history in Bucharest.
Wonderful place
Quite nice church. A shame you're not allowed to take pictures, not even without flash.
