We booked two tours, a bear watching and a hiking in Piatra Craiuli. Price was reasonable, guides were kind, and the experience was absolutely worth it.

Great tour of Bran castle and Râşnov fortress with tour guide Dan Negoescu. Dan is full of great local Knowledge and the history of the area and Romania as a nation. Active travel were prompt in arranging my visit and kept good communication. I recommend Dan as a tour guide as he goes the extra mile and added a few specials in the form of an exceptional singing voice.

Great trip with Active Travel taking in Peles Castle, Bran Castle and Rasnov Fortress. Small group (there was 4 of us) in a comfortable people carrier. Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable and took a lot of care in making sure we were happy and could get food and drinks etc.
We did a tour in Piatra Craiuli and a bear excursion with them. We were four people and had a great experience. Very little and comfortable groups and expert guides. To be highly recommended.
