We used the camping facilities. We stayed with our camper in the traditional household in the Apuseni mountains. They have a really, really sweet horse, a handsome rooster with his fat hens, three cats and many dogs. The owner likes children and will show them around and make all natural lemonade for them.

Avoid it if you can. The place is far and the host didn't seem welcoming. After showing us not really suitable places for camping, she asked in a rude way 50 RON for a person to camp and possibility to use old bathroom in the cellar. After this we decided to leave and found another camp. Normal price in Romania in really nice campings is 25 Ron. I don't recommend to go here at all. By avoiding this place you will save time, money, effort and you won't lose good mood.
We stayed at Montain Sanctuary in a very special date (for New Year's Eve 2019-2020) and all 6 of us had such a wonderful and magical time!!!! I don't even know from where to start: the place is extremely beautiful and it's surrounded by gorgeous landscapes (covered by the snow like in a winter tale when we were there!!!!); the house is amazing and has all the necessary commodities and even more!!!! (also it is needed to mention how much we enjoyed playing with the animals around :)). And the most valuable for us was the impressive attention from Georgiana and her mother!!!! They are such wonderful hosts!!! And we enjoyed so much the company of Georgiana, who is extremely kind and fun!! For us, a group of 4 spanish and 2 romanians (during a short trip to Romania for 3 of the spanish), will forever remain as one of the best holidays ever!!! Thank you so so much for everything and we deeply recommend to everybody to have a wonderful time at Mountain Sanctuary!!!!
True Romanian village experience
Nu recomand! Baia in curte, miros neplăcut, paturi inconfortabile, curte dezordonată, nimic din ce prezintă pe booking nu este real. Mizeria de la porci curge exact prin fața bucătăriei și este mascată de plăci mari de cauciuc. Ciubărul este mic si neingrijit, drumul este off-road, iti trebuie mașină de teren. Am parcurs mai bine de 500 de km, încântați de vacanță, dar am fost total dezamăgiți. Am rămas o noapte din cinci planificate.
E trist ce se întâmplă acolo. Mie personal îmi pare mai degrabă o excrocherie. Pozele nu coincid cu realitatea, mizerie de nedescris. Iar "rustic" nu însemna vechituri adunate și aruncate intr.o camera. Gazda nu suportă copiii, dar în schimb câinii de afară se plimba nestingheriți prin camere. Bineînțeles că am procedat ca toți ceilalți. Am ajuns cu greu acolo și am plecat cat de repede am putut.

Îngrozitor!! Pe paturile din camere era par de caine oeste tot, iar cainele din curte sarea sa muște. In curte nu e nicio filigorie.
