Fantastic location, amazing staff and excellent hospitality. Real warm traditional food fresh every day from breakfast to dinner. Little spa, free parking, 5 minutes from the ski resort. Nicely decor room with very comfortable mattress powerful hot water, and warm atmosphere. faultless experience Thank you Alin, Sergiu and the whole Gasthof team

There were 3 waiters, one of them not so friendly. The room was as described, but no maintenance was done. The door to the balcony was very hard to open or close and there was a heavy smell on the stairs. Also, the public areas were not so clean. The food was below average as quality, but expensive. I don't mind to pay for quality, but it wasn't quality. On the other side, as a positive note, they had toys for kids and it is a pleasant place for the small ones.
Good things: Polite staff, nice decor, good food, amazing location. Things that could be improved: bathroom clean level, room doors as the present ones allow every noise from the halls to be heard. Care for local cats should also be improved as they were really hungry. Also, they could consider spaying and neutering cats in case will be needed instead of abandoning them in the woods or other villages.
Absolute fantastic experience from the beginning til the last day To begin with I was trying to create the best experience for my boyfriend’s birthday which is on the 14th of February on Valentine’s Day and Andreea Tomoiaga was answering quite fast to my emails and we’ve managed to organise something beautiful. When we arrived at Gasthof, a great bottle of red wine was waiting for us in the room with 2 glasses and Sergiu, the bartender, send us as well 2 cakes in shape of hearts which was a great touch. The room was spotless clean with a beautiful lake view and a comfortable bed. Our bar and restaurant experience was enhanced by Sergiu and Alin, with their great food and beverage recommendations, outstanding hospitality and funny presence. They made our days there magical. Nicoleta does some great cappuccino’s in the morning and the buffet is super rich, satisfying any taste, from Romanian traditional items to vegan protein powder and delicious cakes. Overall our weekend there was dreamy and we’re gonna definitely come back again there soon.

Good place in a nice position. The food is just ok, and i say this because it differse from one day to another, the breakfast is average. The rooms are simple and clean with a very small TV. The price is a bit high for what they offer to be honest. The best place to be is in the reception area where they have couches and various table games that you can play( great during the evenings) .
The place looks good overall as design. The staff is also nice but the food is absolutely horrible. We had a team building event and sincerely I would have been better with some sandwiches from home. Not to mention we requested no mushroom food and guess what happened?! We had mushrooms in the food. Persons with allergies, be careful. In the photos there is pasta with vegetables... It's quite a challenge to find the vegetables among the overly boiled pasta. It's a bit sad because the location is nice but they mess things up with the food badly. And checking the reviews, I see I am not the only one complaining.
