Writing the review as I'm spending (wishfully) a relaxing weekend in the nice surroundings. Saw the good reviews and decided to give it a try at Casa Tisaru. Contacted the owner who said the price has to include all meals. Accepted, reluctantly, but thought people in the mountains wouldn't leave you hungry. Bottom line - if you enjoy sharing a common balcony with other guests and having a fixed (no option) meal menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner, go for Casa Tisaru. If you eat lightly, go for Casa Tisaru. If you like to purchase your food in the nearest town, after having paid a considerable amount for your all inclusive, to avoid going to bed hungry, go to Casa Tisaru. If you enjoy being scammed (impaled, as we say here in Romanian) give it a try. PS Location is beautiful. Too bad it's inhabited... LE The ladies in the kitchen are doing their best to make up for the poor management while caring for the house cat. Hats off to them.

Verry friendly people. You get more food then you can eat and it is verry good also. The building is build in traditional style. Verry beautifull place. Located nearby a nature parc and close to a big waterfall

Access to the property isn't quite easy, especially in the winter, but once you get there you can enjoy the serenity and the fact that you are not on the main road in Lepsa. The staff is polite and friendly. The villa has a nice architecture, the rooms are also fine, but the cleaning could be done better. The food also is excellent.
PRO: Nice architecture with a beautiful looking garden in the middle; Location - one can easily start the National Park hike from there by foot; One of our cars was a sport low car and the owner provided a different parking place, before the accommodation, as the 750 meters from the main road might prove challenging for some vehicles. CONS: Limited capabilities staff; we were met by a 'joyful' employee who couldn't understand that we arrived at the same time with a different group and kept trying to put us together; the problem stayed the same in the morning for breakfast, although the 'joyfulness' cleared; Below average food; it's a pity, in the middle of the country side, non of the ingredients were local. One of my friends even recognized the Lidl ham. Breakfast consists of one type of meat, one type of cheese, eggs and butter. Everything from the big chain supermarkets. Nothing home made; We had all inclusive meal plan and all the food was the same. Tasteless. Although the rooms are big, the wooden construction seen better days. Lack of power outlets, the bathroom light switch is by the room entrance, in the opposite corner. As the wood has not been maintained properly, got really dry and everything moves in the room, and the adjacent room, as you step on the floor. Unpleasant.
The access road is unpaved (dirt and stones) after you cross the bridge, so be careful if you want to get there with a car that has a low ground clearance. The place itself has an interesting architecture, but it hasn't been renovated in a while, so if you're expecting luxury, this place doesn't have it. You might find instead squeaky beds, some things broken here and there, etc. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, it's just for people that don't have high expectations. There's no restaurant where you can order from a menu; the kitchen staff cooks something of their choice for each meal, but I believe you can ask them for a specific dish too. Also, I'm not sure if they have drinks that you can order, like beer, wine or juices. Better bring your own.
