The hostess made us feel very much at home. We loved our room. It has such a warmth and cosiness. The building is a very pretty wood guesthouse with a lovely traditional carved wooden entry gate. Our hostess answered our questions about the area and she was very helpful in every way. You will have the option to take evening meals there. Do it! The hostess is a wonderful cook and our meals were tasty and traditional Romanian fare.
Honest country food and generous servings. Excellent service. Helpful hosts. Comfortable and well heated rooms. Need to improve the plumbing in bathrooms. The hosts deserve credit for stating clearly that smoking is not allowed. Very close to Sighetu Marmaţiei.
This is a cosy family run pension in traditional Maramures wooden house design. Guests can order home cooked romanian dinner at reasonable price...comes with home brewed fruit brandy, wow. Enjoyed my stay there.

I had a really lovely stay here. Ioana is a beautiful host and she prepared the most delicious 3 course meal for me everynight for a very, very reasonable price. Including home made brandy ad lib! Ioana and Florin were most helpful with all my questions. My bedroom had a traditional feel, just what I wanted. Someone else has mentioned the smell from the toilet, I only once smelt it outside and never in the bathroom. Convenient location, away from the main town but well situated for getting around. Can also rent bikes. Ioana also waited with me for my bus at 5am! Very kind. Definitely recommended!
because we arrived a bit late we were transferred to a different house near Sighetul Marmatiei. Nothing we booked was like they advertise: different house, different location etc. Seriously, avoid this accommodation.
