Cormoran Resort is located in a perfect spot in the Danube Delta (Delta Dunarii). This place like heaven is an island, Uzlina, close to the mainland - 15-20 minutes by boat - and, Thanks God, not close to the busy Danube branches (Sf. Gheorghe, Sulina) where boats are passing by with speed and lot of noise.
Uzlina is a quiet paradise, lot of water, trees and blue sky.
Cormoran Resort is really big. A lot of space on land, which is rare in Delta Dunarii. A big hotel, 15 independent houses, another house for the staff, a ship shaped house for kids, a private marina, a private gas station (very important), two pools (one is really big, with beach and bar), a big restaurant with garden, close to the big pool, another beach bar and terrace close to the small pool, a private canal for fishing, connected to the main place with a beautiful bridge.
The resort has long and picturesque alleys, a tennis court, lot of high speed boats and catamarans.
Staff is very young, somehow inexperienced, but serving with joy.
Food is wonderful, they have probably a Chef in the main restaurant.
The room (in an independent house) is not fancy but has two excelent beds, an LCD TV on top of a table, two stools with a table, two nightstands and a sofa.
The bathroom is spartan, nothing to say more.
The only negative thing is that sometime there is a bad smell coming from the sewer.
Overall, it's a wonderful place in the Danube Delta and, as far as I know, there is no another place like this where you can enjoy all wonders of the wild nature, living in a big quiet and green resort with all conditions of comfort and where you can eat anything, not only fish like in many other accomodation units in Delta Dunarii.
