It's a small regional airport with adequate facilities and fun crew. Ideal for convenience to access the parts of Transylvania that are not well served with other infrastructure. Plenty of space for expansion when tourism picks up and more airlines start servicing thos part of the world. Car rental available. It is easily accessible from the E60 motorway. Albeit, motorway is an executive word and not the reflection of this road. There is a fuel station next door to return the car fully fuelled.

Very quick through immigration, the baggage arrived promptly and we were in the car and on our way within 15-20 minutes of landing.
A very rude and loud (shouting at everyone, not just at me) check-in female employee and also a female police officer-or Militia more like, are there to remind you the 'old days'. 'We don't have the whole day, hurry up' , they said, although the flight has had half of the passengers on board and didn't even landed.(same plane went back).And it was the only flight to the UK. In contrast, the male airport personnel was very mannered and friendly-well done. Avoid if you can. Colin Peterson, flight number W93701 to Luton, 17th of July 2020.
It a small airport, staff is friendly in general. I wish they would speak a bit of Hungarian, too. Of course it is not mandatory for them, but since they receive daily flights from Budapest and other cities where a lots of Hungarians are travelling to and from, it would be advantageous for both parties. Prices are sky high inside the terminal, and the two shops take more space than the actually waiting hall. Altogether is an OK airport.
on the passport control people have no idea about the existing regulations so expect a delay. The airport is really small and basic, but it's really in the middle of nowhere so there is no reason to stay inside. The public transport connection is poor. Big parking but not very accessible
It’s a small airport. I think they need to expand the space for the customers. Sometimes there are not enough seats. This airport has potential, but it would need some investment from the local authorities.
Bad staff, Impolite, nasty, arogant. Just old people! Never come back! Speke just hungarian and bad Romanian.
Police agents lack of politeness. Unprofessional and arogant. Makes me sick.
