We loved it here. The tour was informative and friendly. The activity of Neculai Popa, a priest passionate about history, to research and dig around the area lead to art in different forms and also collecting old things. He definetely loved and understood the Romanian spirit, which resides in the countryside and the old habits, even if degraded by communism and importingcopying Western patterns. Very consistent experience in this private museum.

An absolute surprise. An old household transformed into the most amazing museum. Thousand of things, some more interesting than others. An absolute must.

One of the best kept treasures of Romanian ethnography, an amazing look at the heritage of the Neamt county and the artwork of a truly inspired naïve painting artist

The master's daughter is your guide and she has many wonderful stories about the work of her parents and history of the archaeological finds from around the area.

This is a privately owned Museum run by a rather unusual guy with help from his family, particularly his sister who served us lunch. The exhibits are housed in an around a building with interesting architecture. There are all manner of artifacts pertaining to Romania as well as a collection of coins from all over the world. The stone sculptures are all his own work and rather unusual and big. We later had a very traditional lunch cooked by the family. A very interesting place to see.
