Raul, his mother, and Edgar are very kind and inviting. I stayed 2 nights with them, the first in a private room and the second in their dorm. We were originally booked for the main location but they overbooked the room. Luckily Raul’s mother walked us over to the ‘Freeborn Fragment’ location which turned out to be even better and more centrally located. They also rent bikes out which is a nice way to explore he city.

Hell a great hostel, workers are so kind and polite, hostel as object isnt that much special, but it is very clean. Has all what you need, and really great backyard.
Located in the center of the city of Timisoara, freedom hostel provides a cozy and colourful place to spend the night. The owner was really friendly and helpful. Great people great stories.
Very nice, helpful and friendly owner. The beds are the most comfortable I've slept on in my life I think, hostel or not. Apparently the owner's father made the mattresses?

The place and location is really perfect. The owner is super helpful and kind guy. I really had a good time even though I have spend only one night here. I was staying in a room without air conditioner, so it was really difficult for me to sleep. If they have a room with AC i would recommend to go for it.
Best hostel in Romania! Run by the funniest and most helpful guy in Romania! (Raul) You can't really go wrong staying here, chill hostel close to the center. Would definitely stay again
Staying at Freeborn Hostel was like staying at home! It is exactly what you want out of a hostel - extremely clean, friendly people, amazing staff, and a wonderful common area inside and out. The only down side is the heat, but it is manageable as it is summertime. The location is superb and the staff go out of their way to assist and give recommendations. My bus arrived extremely late in the night and Hector even waited for me and marked up my map at the late hour. It truly felt like home and every one that stayed here extended their stay because it was so nice. If you come to Timisoara please stay here !
