Best mexican food in town, super authentic from a hearty real mexican fella. The burgers are outstanding, but at least try the more traditional Mexican dishes like tacos, huarache burritos or chimichangas once, you’ll be convinced! I’ve never had a better homemade green salsa, but be careful it’s super hot. In times of COVID-19 he only serves ‘to go’ or delivery by several apps, but the packaging is well-made and the food arrives always warm. He changes his menu once in a while, so you might won’t find all the dishes from the pictures at any time.

Just passed this restaurant by chance, after having a walk in the centre of Timisoara. Curiosity got me, i got inside and was amazed by the atmosphere and the superb smell of the food! I wish you the best of luck with this small restaurant and i will visit it often from now on! But one quick recomandation: i think you should have a full romanian menu as well and bigger written font (my mom couldn’t read it) 10/10 totally recommend!

Best and most authentic mexican food in the city. Go for the carnitas tacos with habanero pickled onions on top.
I have just visited El Maguey and it was a wonderful experience. The flavor of the food is extraordinary, the fresh meat, the authentic taste of corn tortilla the avocado and coriander all mixing together to create something simply perfect. Strongly recommended and in the meantime, enjoy the photos of this pretty meaty burrito
