The place itself, physically is nice, a beauty of a pub situated in a nice area. The food is ok, nothing special. Over the years the place has had different serving staff but, somehow they all (probably management level) are strict about the serving hours. If they close at 23:30 then at 22:30-22:45 they will ask for your last order and at 23:15 would, sometimes literally come and ask you to leave so they could close. This would be somewhat in the area if they would close at say 01:00 (as some other restaurants do) or allow clients to stay up to 00:00. It is their business and their terms, but, because we would sometimes go out at 22:00 we instantly know that we can't go there. Each to their own I guess. Overall a nice place.

You like meat? You like beer? Then you have come to the right place! This place is huge (and so are the beers). Good for groups, right in the center. Can recommend the ham hock, as well as the goulash. Waiters are a bit stiff, but the bartender is the man!

A 300y old location so welcoming. The beer it’s really good, they have all kinds, from Fresh Made beer, unfiltered, without preservatives, etc. to modern types like Raddler. The food it’s also good, generally traditional Romanian food. It’s a good place for tourist and groups. I really had a good time

Big fan of this place! The interior architecture of it is beautiful. It is a giant pub - looks like it could seat 500 people inside and then looks like they have a great many tables and chairs for people to sit outside in the courtyard when the weather is nice. I trust that the food is very traditional Romanian, particularly from the Banat region. My stuffed cabbage rolls were delicious and I liked the pickles & peppers on the side. The house lagers are also very tasty and refreshing. Highly recommended for visitors and seems like a great place to hang out on a Saturday night in spring or summer.

Traditional Romanian food and drinks. Carefull with portion sizes as they are very big :) you should try mici and sarmale if you never had before

Loved the place. Tried Mici and loved them (bear in mind it only comes with fries, so if you want vegetables, order that separately). Local unpasteurised beer was also good.
