Great place for fresh produce!

They are few real \peasants\ , true farmers, in that market. The \monopol\ is held by a few commerciants who buy fruits and vegies from \en gros\ markets then reselle those products at (often hyper) inflated prices. On a side, near the farmer's market, there is some sort of general goods arket with people selling at tables; I strongly discourage buying from there, cuz, again, prices are inflated (you can easily find similar and better and cheaper goods in the real bazar) , plus , the sellers are often unpolite and they do not offer any guarantee for their products...

The second local market, situated in the George Enescu neighborhood, smaller that the main one and pretty crowded most of the time, with no parking spaces for it (so it's best to go there on foot). You can find pretty much anything in there, from fresh vegetables and fruits, to alcoholic homemade beverages, and other cheap products for you or for your home.
