A completely three star guest house. Not better, not worse. Food is OK, the rooms are OK, the architecture is interesting. My room (8) had a foul smell coming from the bathroom. Also, the doors are anything but soundproof, maybe a tribute to the interior design. The personnel was friendly and helpful.

Very nice old building from the 19th century, even though some of the finishing touches of the room interiors could be better. Nice staff, they were able to propose us a solution after a misunderstanding related to our reservation. The breakfast quality could be improved. A good experience overall.

My friends stayed here a few years back and enjoyed it. I only came to try their restaurant. I enjoyed the food. The staff was wonderful - reception and servers. They turned on all the Christmas lights just for us. Just lovely. I recommend taking the shortcut stairs if you're walking, rather than following the sidewalls.
We stayed in standard room for 4 nights. The price for this room wasn't relevant because : -The door of the bathroom had a big crack. -On the selling was a spider's web and behind the curtain was a big bottle off Sprite from previous guest's. -In the bathroom was hair wen we arrived and all the towels had stains on them. -We heard the tv in the next room quite well. -The breakfast was good if you like hair in you're eggs. -The maids was helpful and corrected the "small" mistakes described above. -Very disappointed because the photos off the standard double room was left out. -If you truly want to stay at Villa Camelia you must choose between the Triple room and the Superior Double Room. If I left something out, you will found it for yourself. Ps: This is my first and review.

Very nice place, friendly people. Loved the room with old furniture. Also, the newly opened restaurant is excellent. Will go again.
Really great little place! By accident was our first choice right after we arrived in Sinaia. We just wanted to check for a double room and the prices. We saw the room and took it. The house is quite old and looks very good for a clasic style. I loved the architecture details! The room was clean and very stylish as well. Quite romantic I would state. The biggest surprise was the breakfast!!! The buffé was really amazing. All sorts of freshly prepared aperitif, and a very wide rage in taste. I am a vegetarian and I had absolutely no trouble to find plenty of healthy food there at the breakfast. I definitely recommend this place for some nights in Sinaia!
