Charming! Old, traditional surroundings with modern, updated accommodation. We had a fun filled day with Michael, our host who was kind enough to be our guide. Taking us for a scenic, off-road mountain tour to see wildlife and the most amazing landscape, we visited the Banfy Castle in Bontida and had wonderful cappuccino in the same coffeehouse as Prince Charles. A surprise at the end of our trip was a boardwalk stroll through the bird sanctuary. Upon our return to the lovely B & B, Erzsike treated us to a delicious authentic Hungarian dinner of guyas and apple and cinnamon filled palacsinta. Our accommodation was perfect, with comfortable beds and very clean. Surrounded by authentic Szekely artfacts, this destination gave us a glimpse of cultural history of Transylvania.
