Definetly one of the best places to eat in Sfantu Gheorghe. The hosts are nice, the prices are ok, the food is great! You can try carp on cabbage and the traditional fish soup \storceag\.

We were in Sfantu Gheorghe few years ago and had meals here. In the meantime they built a new guesthouse and we got accommodation there. The place looks good, modern building with traditional concepts. It is closer to the camping and therefore the beach. On the window we could see the lighthouse. There is a courtyard, playground and gazebo for having meals without being so exposed to heat and mosquitos. The room and bed are comfortable, very hot water, air conditioning. The food was plentiful, extremely tasty, fixed menu and very traditional, everything based on fish. Cheap beverages and we got free serving of palinka upon arrival. Not so many mosquitos in the courtyard. The owner was ok for the booking and terms. Now, for the points to be improved. We stayed 4 days and the room was not cleaned, which is not convenient since you are asked not to throw toilet paper in the wc and everyday you carry sand and dust from the beach. They could clean perhaps every 2 days. The food is ready late, especially for lunch, 13:30, for dinner at 20:00, hard to wait so much especially with kids. It should be ready earlier and people can then eat at different times. The part of the village where the guesthouse is located is not very clean. In one of the days they started some construction work at 8 in the morning, so goodbye sleep. We asked by email in advance for boat trip but since the owner was not there it could not really be discussed until tge last evening, when it was to late. Despite all this, we would probably consider to come back, since we are aware that many of these things affect most locations in the village and the cost/benefit balance is good.
I was not staying there over night but ordered a supper. It was freaking amazing. For 40 lei per person you get so much food that you are barely able to eat it all. I would definitely return for the dinner. I am so upset that we found this place so late and earlier wasted our time and money in other places.
Concediul de anul acesta l-am petrecut în Delta Dunării la Sf Gheorghe,ca în ultimii doi ani fiind cazați la pensiunea Casa Alb Albastră. Recomand această locație pentru mâncarea delicioasă din pește, curățenia din camere, gazdele prietenoase și dispuse să îți îndeplinească orice doleanțe (nu cred că au în vocabular cuvântul NU). Mi-a plăcut că în camere nu există televizor deoarece după o săptămână petrecută în mirifica delta pleci mai liniștit cu bateriile încărcate. Abia aștept să ne vedem la vara viitoare.
