This place will make your experience very local. As the village is quite small, you even start knowing people if you stay for a couple of days. Very good food, too!! I recommend the pike caviar.

The owner is not from Saint George. So don't expect the traditional local fish food. But the food is exceptionally GOOD. Everything is fresh. It is first come, first served and he cooks just what the fishermen brings him. So be careful the food is fast gone. The decoration of the inside restaurant inside are also great. The atmosphere outside is calm and greeky. I recommend it!

I think we had the best \home\ away from home food here. Off season, there was literally just the cook there and she took our order, she set our table, she cooked and she gave us the check - because the waiters all went back to school;) Her cooking was absolutely amazing, we just loved it.

Food seems to be good but the options are very limited despite the huge menu. You can only get the food as it would be from a fast-food place. Limited options available until they change what they cook.

Good and cheap food and drinks for the Danube Delta, self service. Best place to eat in Sfantu Gheorghe.

Local place, local people, quiet, we had Salau fish with polenta which was actually pretty good, and some 'Icre de stiuca' (Pike Caviar) which was delicious. Nothing fancy but if you're visiting the Danube Delta for fancy , better stay at home

Nice ambiance. The time I've visited they were playing rock sensibly loud. I ordered fish and chips with polenta and garlic sauce ( mămăligă si mujdei ). Unfortunately both the fish and patotoes were pre frozen. Tasty none the less, except the garlic sauce which was definetly off the shelf and not freshly made. Good experience overall.
