Great location, amazing garden and outdoor space. If you are looking for the quiet, authentic experience, I highly recommend this place. The rooms are clean, however, due to the building's placement, there are bugs which sometimes enter the rooms. However, the windows from the rooms have mosquito nets, so you may sleep with the window open, in the sound of grasshoppers and the river running across the road. It sounds liks a nature sounds machine. Another issue is the old furniture and furnishings, but for us, they were part of the rustic charm. The whole space is organized like a family business, so the cooks are also family, and the food is home-made. It could do with a bit more diversity, but the dishes are definitely great.

Gorgeous landscape. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The sorroundings are full of vegetation. It is silence, except the sound of grasshoppers and other insects. Also is a river that makes some noise. The food is well cooked, as traditional. The personnel is nice.
Large and clean rooms. Delicious food. They also have a grill outside which you can use.
location Food(tasty, though lacking diversity) - room cleanliness - host's attitude(rude, expeditive). The behavior we experienced is not at all in line with the current rating of this place.

I've been here in July for 2 nights. Lovely place at the foot of Retezat National Park. Had a 2 bedroom apartment - best view ever - clean and equipped with everything you need. Food was exceptional( early breakfast and late dinner) and the people very friendly and trying to accommodate everything you ask for. Highly recommended.
Very nice place. Rooms are quite small though for the price. Food is decent but pretty expensive. Surroundings are amazing.
The garden and sight seeing is great. The cleanest can be improved in the location.
