Last week we went to have dinner and wine tasting at the place and I can say we had a very nice experience! We got to taste 5 types of wine and also some traditional țuică. The food we received was also traditional and very tasty. I can say everything was perfect, starting with the location (everything authentic, green garden, nice smells), the wine (I recommend trying their wine, it's very good), the food and also the company! The hosts are very nice people, telling stories from around the area and being very entertaining. The rooms are decorated with authenticity and they transport you in a different era :). Great experience, I highly recommend it to everyone!

Super nice experience in the countryside, very nice accommodation and friendly hosts. Delicious meals made with homegrown ingredients. Also an excellent choice for a wine tasting dinner, as they produce their own wine.
I am very pleased with my experience at Villa Rihuini this summer. The staff is very friendly, hard-working and helpful! The rooms are very clean and they preserve the traditional Transilvanian vibe, which is always a plus in my books. The garden is very well taken care of and creates a very chill atmosphere. The hosts are also winemakers and they can organise a wine-tasting, on request, which I highly recommend. Their wine is amazing! Overall, I can not complain about anything, when thinking back on my holiday in Richiș. It was only filled with good times in the nature, enjoying the wine and visiting the beautiful fortified churches nearby. I am definitely thinking of returning here in the future! What a beautiful place! Very lovingly restored old vinyard farm house, with great attention to detail. The guest rooms are very quaint, immaculately clean. The beautiful garden a wonderful place to rest. Alexandru is a most hospitable host, very friendly and open, speaks English well, and is most obliging. If you want to delve into Transsylvanian / Siebenbürgen village life, this is a most comfortable way to do it! His wine cellar is worth a visit in itself!
I visited villa Rihuini for a wine tasting, which was a lovely experience. I was also shown around the guesthouse and wish I had stayed there for a couple of nights. The Saxon farm house is tastefully decorated with much love and care, with wooden floorboards, authentic furniture and traditional objects. There is a beautiful garden in the courtyard with many different kinds of flowers. The place has a positive energy, as it is run by a very warm and welcoming family. Highly recommended!
Fantastic place, warm in the winter, good company, great rural authentic food and even better wine. On a business trip but felt like a vacation. 3 nights and days exploring the nearby World Heritage properities. Even arranged transport to and from the airport. Would highly recommend.
Villa Rihuini is a wonderful traditional home stay in the heart of Transylvania. The family are incredibly welcoming, warm, and hospitable. The food is plentiful and delicious, nothing is too much trouble for the family when it comes to the comfort of their guests. The accomodation is spacious, extremely clean, and with endless attention to detail. Andre will happily even take you via horse and cart to his vineyard. We extended our stay by a night because we loved it so much. Hope to return one day! Thanks for a beautiful stay!
