Interesting castle with towers in the form of turrets present in the corners. Hopefully it will be renovated soon as it has a huge potential to become a major tourist attraction in the Racoș area.

Restoration works are still in progress but you can visit almost everything. A lot of chambers, towers, and even fragments of old paintings and stone decorations. When the works will be finished it could easily become one of the main attractions in the whole region.

Nice ancients place to visit. A bit difficult acces on the stairs due to poor set up and lack of space. Sugest to build them in spirals

Nice little gem that's included in the Emarald Lake \tour\ package. It has a nice story that we found out from the guide. Unfortunatelly it was left unatended for a long time as many other monuments in this country. You could hear the sorrow in the guide's voice. If you go to the lake, it would be a pitty not to stop here.

A little more investment would go a long way. But it was good for being included in the ticket for Racoș Volcano. Don't miss that one!

Not so much a castle, but a fortified noble's residence. It has elements of a medieval castle, on a small scale. And the view from the main tower is beautiful.

I was surprised find this nice fortress here. We went to visit the lake and the volcano. Nice, they are restoring it.

Interesting but could be better with some multi lingual interpretation panels. Sad that so much concrete used in restoration
