We had an amazing experience for my birthday. The owners show up to create the best experience. Most kind staff and nourishing and healthy food. I have felt like home! Cannot go wait to go back and experience it again.

I can't find the right words to describe how wonderful it is. The friendly staff are all experts at what they do and so interesting to get to know. The accommodation, atmosphere, food and scenery is incredible. Walking around and picnicking in the Carpathian Mountains was sublime. If, like me, you've not been to Transylvania before or you've not done much yoga, OMG, you're in for a treat.
Spent a weekend with a friend at the lovely Akasha Wellness Retreat. Feels like visiting family, warm and welcoming. Food was amazing, views cannot compare and everyone there makes the experience something to remember.

Had such a wonderful time. Ok, so the transfer from Bucharest is long (we stayed one night in bucharest, then took a three hour train to Brasov, which is cute, then we're picked up from Brasov. Alternatively you could drive from airport 4 hours, or a taxi (120)) But once you arrive - oh my! The views are stunning, just wonderful. There are puppies and foals everywhere! The lodge is very comfortable, the hot tub under the magnificent stars and sauna are great. The yoga was perfect - at first we found it a bit too gentle, but actually it was pitched right for five days/twice a day. There were extra workshops and lots of stunning walks on the doorstep. Romania is wonderful, Bucharest old town is great and so is Brasov. What a holiday!
Waking up seeing mountains, bubble gum coloured sky and stars, fresh air. Early mornings with homemade pancakes and nights near their real fireplace. I had such a great time. They do provide exactly what they say, a home. A home to feel comfortable, peaceful. The people who work there are really grate and Rob the yoga teacher was amazing. The hot tub let's you look at the mountains and the sauna will make you feel your best.
An unexpected surprise... lush, luxurious and lazy day living The oasis that is Akasha is a gem... among the rolling hills of Romania is a beautiful surprise of a retreat center that offers hot tubs on cool nights, sunrise yoga and mid-day hikes. It’s a dream!!! The beds are the best quality I’ve ever slept on. Ask for the room that gets the best sunrise! It’s spectacular!
