What I like most about Acton Academy is that the students have a lot of control about what they are learning, they get to pursue different subjects because they find them interesting not because they are under pressure to get a high mark on subjects established entirely by somebody else and meant to be the same for everybody, no matter their personal interests and passions. I love the accent put on community, and for me, more important than what my kids study is the way they learn to negotiate their relationships with their colleagues and the adults there, how they have to find the solutions to their everyday problems and challenges and for that I admire their wonderful guide for having the strength to not intervene. The campus also looks amazing, the outdoor space is large and well equipped, in the indoor spaces endless options of educational games, activities and books. Cristina, the founder has put her soul into this project, she stays true to the Acton principles and I love her positivity and the good energy si transmits.

Acton is a new concept of school, which was created by parents who believe that we become the best version of ourself by being listened, respected and inspired to believe that with every mistake we make, we grow and learn. My son is very happy here, he finds everything interesting and above all he is understood and listened.
