The zoo is pretty big, has an interesting variety of animals, however it looks like it could use a cleanup/redecorating, also some of the cages have extremely limited visibility either due to the fences or glass windows, taking pictures in some locations is almost impossible. They also have a small kids entertainment park which is nice.

Could not resist to bribe this beauty :F Wait I found the stress ball that we bought as a souvenir from you :D It helped me out a lot not to pop a wine inside my own pretty little heart...
We had a really wonderful time in this zoo. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have English and German signs and information. You can relax everywhere in the zoo, there is free WiFi and enough toilets and spots to drink. All animals looked happy and healthy, it was clean and spacious. I recommend a visit but 2 hours is enough.
Nice green place to relax, you can feed some of the animals (goats, horses with special food provided there) and pet them (not the wild ones though). Lots of places for the kids to play in the shade and in the sun.
It was a well spent Sunday morning with the family. A lot more animals and fish and reptiles area opened and will be perfect. BONUS, the McDonald's ice-cream and juice vouchers were perfect.
We love the place. The Zoo is very clean and organized. You can buy food for animals and feed them. Not a very big Zoo but there are definitely enough species to see and enjoy your time with loved ones.

Lovely way to spend some time with family! 54 lei for adults and 2 children is also quite a good deal. I would suggest people to go and visit before animals eat as after that most would be hiding away sleeping and may be difficult to spot especially by the little ones!
