Very nice place. The owner is super friendly and will explain the whole history of this family run mill. You can buy home-made jams and palinca from the owner. The entry fee is 5RON/person.

It’s great to see families still preserving the old ways. The owner gave us a nice tour of the mill and how it works. You can even come with your own grains and use it :)
Family-owned water mill, still functional and in use, the oldest in Transylvania. The current miller is also the guide; he can tell you all technicalities and answer any curiosity you might have. There are no proper signs to lead you to the mill, but after you turn right from the main road, just cross the bridge over the water and turn right again.
Family heirloom, still in function ever since 1873. The owner is actually the guide and you have the chance to listen to a piece of history. Don't forget to buy somerhing hand made, like a bag of fresh flour, jam or sweater or a pair of socks kneatted by the 86 years old Grandmother. The 5 lei visiting tax is barely enough to cover the expenses for the maintenanace of the mill.
It's worth visiting... It's not quiet because of the water running but it is still a wonderful place :)
The oldest functional mill on water in Romania, built in 1873! A very rare piece you can see live. The host is very friendly. Circuits can be set up for visiting this place. The roads to Ohaba are pretty good. Enjoy!
Very good explanations from the miller which is also the owner of the mill. Interesting journey back in time to see traditional milling
A beautiful and calm location. One of the last places where you can see a functional traditional water mill. Also, the host is very kind and hospitable.
