A geological reservation of great value, which along a picturesque route offers us the story of salt, from an old degraded mine, now protected by a roof, to a picturesque path on the valley of a river that comes from Corund. The route offers a great diversity of saline manifestations, from classic salt deposits, to salt crusts and cauliflowers, salt water springs and lacy lapis lazuli, mud baths and an abundant vegetation specific to salty areas. After the crowds and noise of Praid Salt mine, where unfortunately the entertainment facilities offered spoil much of the natural value of the place, a walk through the Salt Canyon located about 1 km away can give you the peace you need to enjoy the wonders of nature and will charge positively. The Salt Canyon can be reached from two locations: one with access from the village of Ocna de Jos, and the other right from the meadow, near the wellness center.

A pleasant walk through the canyon on the site of the former salt mine, where the salt covers the surrounding hills and where you can see lots of salt crystals. In the middle of the canyon (2015) is an artificial pond with healing mud and local salt water. There is a small changing room, but the mud you have to wash in a nearby creek with really cold water.

Csodálatos, egyedülálló természeti ritkaság a parajdi sóhát. Lenyűgözőek a hegyoldalból kiálló sósziklák, melyek aljából tömény sós víz folyik ki. Pár éve még nagyon jól karban volt tartva a KorPa által, sajnos mostanában kevesebb figyelmet fordítanak rá. Aki Parajdon jár, tegyen egy kitérőt. A bánya bejáratának utcáján végig, aztán balra a nagy kapuig, hídig (balra) innen pár perc gyalog.
Primiți un pliant la intrare cu principalele obiective in baza căruia aveți reducere și la alte obiective. Totodată, în interiorul rezervației va puteti face o baie cu nămol mineral.
Un loc natural, nepatat de rauvointa turiștilor ne-experimentati. Este pentru iubitorii de natura, pentru cei ce își doresc sa intre în contact cu puterea naturala a pământului.
