Powerfull and hystorical symbol, central of the diocese Romano Catholic in Oradea. Must visit the cathedral with a great organ, and entire Baroque Palace and \Sirul Canonicilor\ complex.

This roman catholic basilica holds the title of the largest basilica in Romania. It's pretty wild. We were fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of some choir rehersals there and hear the acoustics too. It's amazing. Being \off the beaten touristy track\ it's still definately worth a visit while you're in Oradea

Beautiful building - especially from the inside. Looking from the outside, I did not expect it to have such impressive interior. So the cathedral is definitely worth seeing and spending there some time. Especially for the fact, that it's not very crowded and you can just sit down, think, admire the paintings and pray. One of the most interesting places in that - overall - nice city. It the main gate is close (e.g. for the reconstruction reasons) you can try the smaller entrance on the east side of the building.

Unable to visit!! Not sure if it’s open!?!? The grounds are a building site with areas fenced off and only work man in sight. No clear signage for non Romanians. I walked around the outside of the compound and couldn’t find an obvious visitors entrance. Checked the website but not helpful as no English option. Waste of two hours.
