We are facing an issue here that goes into some deep psychological issues. This campground is very nice looking but forget about the nice grass, power outlets or sparkling clean showers. The unfortunate thing is that the owners are not fit for hospitality, at ALL. All I can say that, they both need professional help and training. Only then go back to running a campground. They do know how to keep it tidy but they grossly lack people skills. Maybe they've been hurt in the past and now they've completely lost touch with the outside world, you can feel their frustration. My only hope is that they quit this business as soon as possible and they focus on something else, or get training on how to treat customers. One of the worst customer service I have EVER encountered in my life. It's really important that guests know what they are getting themselves into and once enough first timers have been 'burnt', a return supply of guests will slowly dissappear, which will force change and corrective action on the owners. I feel sorry for them.
Like the other reviews: The owner is not welcoming any campers at all. Super unfriendly and rude. I cannot recommend it. Just go to another campground. Facilities might be ok though...
Firstly this place has the best facilities in the area. Clean and well maintained.The owners were friendly and accommodating. I stayed 4 nights and can say I never heard a word spoken against them. There are dogs in the district, its Romania.
Well maintained site with all the facilities you need. Owner very helpful and anticipated our needs. Boat trip through the delta was superb. Guide, who is one of the site owners, had such great knowledge of the birds we saw. Don't recognise the negative comments that have been made about this site.
We really dont reccomend this camping site. Not worth the money. The camping it self is OK, but the staff is very unpleasant. During 20 days in Romania we had never such experience. The owners (staff) are still chasing you, if you behave according to their expactation, for example you should close the door of the lavatory immediatelly, not in 10 secs (I was lifting my 5 years old daughter after taking a shower) etc. AGAIN, DONT DO THE MISTAKE AS WE DID AND CHOOSE ANOTHER CAMPING SITE, THERE ARE A LOTS OF OTHERS! These people really dont deserve your money and visit. The response of the owners will be dishonoring for sure, if you read all reviews you will make your opinion. Have a nice trip.
What looks like a nice campsite in the first place, seems to be a German style ruled outfit. "Gate closed at 10pm, no BBQ, only one person per shower, no shower between 1 and 2, leave before 11am". All these rules are enforced by the lady of this site. And she won't miss to remind you of all of them. The most incredible situation was, when she forced a motorbike driver to leave because it was 11, despite heavy rainfalls and thunderstorms. Because that was the rule...
The camping side looks nice but the holder of the place is incredibly unfriendly. He has many stupid rules and consists on them to be followed (like putting something between the Gras and our camping cooker although the cooler stays cold!). Also he does not tell you friendly when you did sth wrong but he seems to take his energy from picking on his guests. We had to leave the camping side at eleven straight although it was not crowded at all and we already cleared our space from the tents and just ate at the common table. Really bad experience.
