Beautiful 18 century castle with neo-gothic style that mimic the western castles from Germany/France/Austria. It is placed in the middle of dendrological park (English garden) of several acres with beautiful and old trees (some of couple of hundred years old). On the property you can also visit a monastery or the boyard family cemetery. You can park the car at the entrance from the main road, on the access road or somewhere near the castle or monastery. You have guided tours every hours. There is also a restaurant with really tasty food/drinks made with natural and local ingredients ( I highly recommend the homemade ice-cream). Be aware that you cannot pay anywhere there with a card so bring your cash with you.

Very pleasant place, the guide at the castle is amazing, the castle is worth visiting although it neeeds to be repaired. There is a good restaurant, with traditional food. The park and the entire area provide a very positive energy.

This place is about 3 hrs drive from the city. Located in a kind of isolated place. You need to book reservations in advance to be here. Such a great peace of history again. Beauty around the place is also stunning. Worth a visit. Check out the pics

Awesome historic 19th Moldavian palace. The tour guide is a witty and humorous fellow, great at blending the historic facts with the contemporary. The palace is a bit in shambles, but will be restored in the next few years. There is a restaurant with vegan options. Really well prepared food, a bit above average pricing, all in all good value for money. The cake is reasonable, the icecream, not so much since it is vegan (to be read made with water, not milk). It is a half a day visit, including trip from / return to Iasi.

The palace is nice, but it should be nice to have a space to eat or to drink a coffee.
