Very nice views, the actual snails in the stones are at the bottom, but otherwise very good trail for hiking.

This place is very easy to reach and it has a powerful archeological importance. Very good naturally preserved snails. Worth a 5 minute stop.

The Snail Hill is a 70 million old geological reservation. The hill is quite big, about 15m along the main road which gets to Avram Iancu village. The Snail Hill has just a small information sign so be careful not to pass by as the area has no protection around and seems abandoned. When you go closer to the hill you can see how great the shells look like, unbelievable these are here from ages ago!!! If you have 10 min for a walk you can park the car and take the left road for visiting also Valul Miresei (Pisoaia) Waterfall. It's very beautiful, especially in the spring when the snow melts.

Unusual place to find this kind of thing. This region was a bottom of an ocean and this is the proof of that.
