There is a fisherman there that catches and smoked his own fish. A friendly guy that will be happy to let you try various types of delicious smoked fish before selling you some. Let me just say that I left with a big bag of smoked fish.

If you want to go to Gura portiței, you can find here the official boat or many other private boats that can take you there, usually at 9:00 the boats leave, you need to be there early around 8:30, the price for one person is about 8 euros
