We were at Remeti, looking for a place to stay at the last moment and we (17 guys) found a Lucian pension. We came there tired as hell, dirty, hungry and the nicest romanian lady welcomed us there and with a little help of a neighbor we made a deal (90 lei/person for night, amazing dinner and maybe even more amazing breakfast). When we asked her if there is any public transportation that could get us to the rendezvous point with the rest of our group in the morning, she called her son, he took a truck, made some changes inside to be more comfortable and he drove as to the location we needed. We truly felt like home, we even named the lady 'our romanian grandma' because it really felt like we are on vacation at our gradmas. I highly recomend staying there, rooms are clean and nice, food is amazing and the owner is super nice and willing. She speaks a little bit french, little bit hungarian and she has a nice neighbor, who speaks english very well and has no problem to translate. And if you do not know any of theese languages, just use your hands, staying there is just great :-)
