Perfect place in the middle of nowhere, amasing food, wonderful host and enjoyable moments to be spent there. 100% recomand this !!
This property is located relatively near Herculane, but also within 1 hour from Ponoarele and Isverna cave, which are all good attractions. It sits on the bank of Cerna River in between mountains, which is very pitoresque. There is a big yard, hammocks, sun beds, playground. The property is family run and the owners are very welcoming. We received a free room upgrade, free welcome drinks and free apple pie at dinner. The rooms are all good. The food for dinner was tasty, meatball soup and chicken with vegetables in a fajitas way. Breakfast also great, with scrambles eggs and sausages plus fresh potato chips with cheese, vegetables, cheese and salami! The pricea are quite good for all of this. For the restaurant it took a bit too long to have the food ready (kitchen is slow, 15-20 minutes delay to expected/estimated times), but it was not such a problem as we spent most of the time in the yard in a pleasant way. The tables on the terrace could be smaller and at larger distance these times.
It felt like I stepped out of Romania straight into a Disney fairy tale. The perfect getaway.

The owners don’t know English. It’s absolutely impossible to communicate. We asked for a dinner three times and heard “yes, ok” and nothing happened for 3 hours. It appeared that they didn’t understand us, but why answer “yes”??? The second biggest problem is WiFi. It’s terrible! Especially if there is no data and mobile network in the area your phone is like a peace of rock. If the owners solve those problems it would be 5, because the place is perfect. Very comfortable room, great views, tasty food.
Perfect! The hosts are very nice, very good food, great place for relaxation and enjoy the nature. The rooms are clean, and pretty spacious. Everything was perfect.
I went there for a one night and day on my trip around Romania and the services and food was beyond my expectations. The mini Hotel is run by a very friendly family who prepare for as amazing food and delivered great services. situated on the Valey of Cerna, 20 km north from Baile Herculane Town, is the perfect place for a mini vacation staying away from the hassling-basseling places. Sorounded by forests fresh air and water the mini hotel is completely GREEN. The electricity & warm water comes from solar panels, the fresh water from fountains and the organic food an drink is made in house. You will be amazed how beautiful is there and how the host will treat you.
