This monastery is one of the most visited places in Iasi. On the inside it is not very big, but the decorations are beautiful and it gives off a nice energy. The exterior, though, is what makes it special. The entire exterior is carved stone, with impressive models. For me it is truly a one of a kind and definitely worth visiting!

It is a beauty of this city.

It was closed when I visited and I couldn't see the inside of the building. But the exterior is awesome! The decorations are diverse, very intricate and beautiful.

Beautiful 17th century Orthodox monastery and a gorgeous architectural monument, included in the UNESCO world heritage list.

Absolutw beauty. One of the most beautiful churches that I've seen (and I saw a lot, in Romania and abroad). A serene and enchanting location. The sanctity of the place is enhanced by three of the important Moldavian rulers entombed in monastery: Dimitrie Cantemir, Vasile Lupu and the great Alexandru Ioan Cuza. A must see.

Interesting place, but to be honest, it's not a Notre Dame. But it worth a visit.

Exquisite architecture with relief decorative elements going all around. Regrettably its museum was closed at the time of the visit.
