Probably the best Monastery in Iasi, very big and cool looking! Inside monastery is a lot of paintings, very well done. Impressive location. Also wall of this territory is very old and awesome. This place is very recommended to visit.

An oasis of tranquility in the heart of the city. A small but central christian monastery with paintings that date back to 1600 and 1800 which you can find in the monastery's church.

If you're visiting Iasi, you have to pay respect to this landmark. If you come by when there is no service, you may enjoy quiet seclusion for couple of minutes. It will feel like an eternity and you would not want to leave. Make sure to take off your hat.. and please, lose the gum.

A serene and lovely place. Beautiful, well maintained garden, with lots of flowers. Inside there are wonderful paintings. A very pleasant experience.

As beautiful as ever, this orthodox church is a must visit when travelling through Iaşi. Started in 1650 in Byzantine style and Baroque elements it was completed 10 years later. Over the centuries, various leaders kept it alive as a symbol of their power and pride. Today is fully functioning church and I cannot wait to go there for the Christmas mass.
